One of the best ways to engage children and teachers with the ‘European’ Dimension is by organising a ‘Festival of European Culture’. These can be of any length or duration ranging from a few days to a whole week.  
It is a wonderful way for children and teachers to come together, to experience new things and new ways of working and to celebrate the rich diversity of culture and tradition from the different countries across Europe.

On the following pages are examples of two different Festivals - one from a ‘Primary’ school, which cost very little money to organise, and one from a ‘Secondary’ school, which had access to a much larger budget.
